Stockbridge Music hub

Stockbridge Music Hub is a collaboration between Amati Global Investors and Stockbridge Parish Church.

In 2021 generous support from Amati Global Investors enabled Stockbridge Church to work with local professional musician Clea Friend to create a brand-new community music project based in the church at Saxe-Coburg Street in Stockbridge.

The  Music Hub aims to connect the community through music, providing a place for people to make music together - listening, playing and creating; an inclusive, friendly hub for all members of the community.

Clea Friend has over 20 years’ experience of working with children and adults with additional needs as well as playing cello professionally. In and around the community she works with schools, care homes and individuals. Based at Stockbridge Church she offers classes for children on the autistic spectrum, adults with additional needs, cello choir and much more. In this current climate, there is a need to come together and share a safe space to enjoy the arts. The Music Hub facilitates integration, communication and socialisation through music to promote health and wellbeing, providing a space to meet new people and build friendships in keeping with our tag line: "Community through music”.
